Job summary

Sole Hire LLC is partnering with an established pump manufacturer to recruit a CNC Machinist II for their Hamilton, NJ facility. This immediate opening offers a first shift, a clean, temperature-controlled shop floor, and hands-on leadership in a small team producing precision pump components.

The role requires setup exp on CNC and/or manual lathes or mills, ability to read GD&T, and strong attention to quality. Training is available for cross-training on mills or lathes as needed.

Qualifications

• Setup and operate CNC and/or manual lathes or mills.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC/manual machines.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and other precision tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills.
• Edit machine programs and tool offsets.
• Machine precision components to engineering specs.
• Inspect parts for accuracy and quality.
• Read blueprints and GD&T.
• Troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
• Maintain safety, 5S standards and housekeeping.
