Advanced Theoretical Concepts, Inc. (ATC) in Camarillo seeks a CNC setup/operator with 2+ years of experience to set up and run HAAS mills and lathe operations, with growth into Mastercam programming.

You’ll read engineering drawings, measure parts with calipers and micrometers, and collaborate with seasoned machinists on aerospace-related components, with opportunities to expand tooling and fixture development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC setup/machining experience.
• Basic Mastercam experience.
• Able to read drawings and tolerances.
• Comfortable with micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Good understanding of tooling, offsets, and workholding.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• HAAS mill and/or lathe experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes.
• Perform tooling, offsets, workholding, and job prove-outs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Modify and develop Mastercam programs based on experience level.
• Assist with troubleshooting, tooling, and fixture development.
