Job summary

ITAC Solutions in Longmont, CO is seeking a precision machinist to program, set up, and run 3/4/5-axis CNC mills with Mastercam in a fast-paced aerospace-focused shop. You will own the process end-to-end, including material selection, tooling, and in-process checks, while maintaining AS9100 standards.

You will also perform self-inspections using GD&T, collaborate with a tight-knit team to troubleshoot features, and occasionally operate a live-tooling lathe when needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on programming experience with Mastercam.
• Experience working in an AS9100-certified aerospace-focused machine shop.
• Working knowledge of GD&T inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run 3/4/5-axis CNC mills using Mastercam to produce high-precision, production-ready parts.
• Optimize automation cells, fixtures, probing, and tool paths for efficient high-mix/low-volume runs.
• Own the process end to end: material selection, tooling, work holding, and in-process checks.
• Self-inspect parts using GD&T and document to AS9100 standards.
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team to troubleshoot tough features and keep jobs moving.
• Jump on a live-tooling lathe when the work calls for it.
