Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Camarillo, CA seeks an experienced CNC Machine Technician for a direct hire. You will set up and optimize CNC milling/turning on HAAS and Matsuura centers, support programmers, and ensure high-precision parts meet specs. This hands-on role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork with quality and engineering, and a safety‑focused mindset.

Direct hire opportunity with pay $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Benefits include health, vacation, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in manufacturing.
Experience with vertical and horizontal mills.
Ability to read GD&T and customer requirements.
Strong measurement skills with calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

Set up and support CNC machining jobs on vertical and horizontal machining centers, including mills and related equipment.
Assist the machine shop manager and programmers with job setup, process optimization, troubleshooting, and production support.
Machine castings and hog outs while ensuring parts meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
Work closely with quality, engineering, programming, and manufacturing teams to exchange technical information and resolve production issues.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and support inspection requirements.
Maintain organized, safe, and efficient machining practices in a fast-paced production environment.
