Job summary

Pinnacle Percission Sheet Metal in Anaheim, CA is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to independently perform standard CNC setups and machining operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

You will read blueprints and process documents, establish tooling and offsets, verify first-piece quality, and make routine program or machine adjustments while troubleshooting common issues to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical CNC training preferred.
• Requires proficiency in CNC operation and standard setups.
• Strong blueprint reading and G/M code knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, process sheets, setup documentation, and applicable job requirements before beginning work.
• Set up and operate CNC machines in accordance with approved programs, process documentation, specifications, and workmanship standards.
• Monitor machining cycles and make appropriate tool, offset, feed, speed, and tapping adjustments within assigned authority.
• Perform first-article and in-process verification using appropriate measuring and inspection equipment and document results as required.
• Complete production and quality records accurately and communicate actions, irregularities, and job status between shifts.
• Perform required daily and weekly machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Troubleshoot production and machine issues within the scope of assigned competency and escalates issues when appropriate.
• Follow all company safety policies, quality requirements, procedures, and work instructions.
