Job summary

First Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a CNC Machinist Level 2 to operate, set up, and program CNC machines for precision parts. You will read blueprints, verify tolerances, and collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and quality standards.

This role requires maintaining safety, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in CNC machining, proficiency with G-code/M-code, and a solid understanding of precision measurement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNC machinist program or apprenticeship preferred.
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience with lathe and milling work.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and GD&T; capable with G-code and M-code.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, mill) to produce parts per specs.
• Load/unload materials, tools, and parts; ensure correct tolerances.
• Read blueprints and edit/Troubleshoot CNC programs as needed.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges; document results.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and uphold safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff; support continuous improvement.
