Job summary

Provisur in Wisconsin seeks an experienced CNC Set Up Machinist to join a newly renovated, air-conditioned shop floor with 17 brand new CNC machines. You will set up and operate CNC lathes and mills, reading blueprints and work instructions to produce parts to spec.

You’ll perform in-process inspection with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, adjusting tooling as needed. This role offers a 4/10 schedule, first shift, and relocation assistance for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machining knowledge.
• Experience setting up CNC machines in a job shop.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and mill to produce parts per blueprints and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and inspection sheets.
• Use inspection gauges to perform quality checks and adjust machines accordingly.
