Job summary

Provisur is seeking a CNC Set Up Machinist for 1st shift in Whitewater, WI. You will set up and operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce parts per blueprints, read specs, and perform in-process checks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of CNC machines, gained on the shop floor or through a CNC degree program.
• CNC setup experience with the ability to operate in a job shop and perform several setups daily.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and mill machines according to blueprints and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets, and instructions.
• Use gauges (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to perform quality checks and adjust machines as needed.
