Job summary

Provisur Technologies is seeking a CNC Set Up Machinist for a 2nd shift in a newly renovated facility with 17 brand new CNC machines. The role includes setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks with precision gauges.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of CNC machines gained on the shop floor or from a CNC degree program.
• CNC setup experience with ability to operate in a job shop, performing several setups per day.
• Desire to learn new things, share insights, and continuously improve products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce parts per blueprints and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check-sheets, and instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to perform quality checks and adjust machines accordingly.
