The role requires reading blueprints/GD&T, using calipers and micrometers, and ensuring quality. Direct Hire, 2+ years CNC experience, and a fast-paced environment suitability are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with CNC setup and operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and understand GD&T requirements.
• Proficiency using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience machining materials such as steel, aluminum, and hardened metals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (Haas lathe and mill), including tooling, fixtures, offsets, and parameters
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to produce parts within specifications
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues while collaborating with engineering and quality teams

Pay Rate: 22-25/hr BOE

Schedule/Shift: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Employment Type: Direct Hire Role

Summary: The CNC Setup Technician & Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and customer specifications. This role ensures efficient production while maintaining high-quality and safety standards.
