Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Cary, IL is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to prepare, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to fabricate highly precision-machined parts. This role requires working with close-tolerance equipment, verifying product quality, and maintaining accurate production documentation.

The 1st shift runs Monday–Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm on a Direct Hire basis, with a pay rate of $22.00-$38.00 per hour plus a $1,000 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finders, and blueprints.
• Experience with CNC controls and multi-axis milling preferred, with G-code experience rewarded.
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling centers according to work orders, routers, and blueprints.
• Study drawings, blueprints, samples, and manuals to install computerized instructions and prepare equipment for production.
• Perform quality inspections and operational checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Verify finished parts using precision measuring equipment and perform deburring as required.
• Complete required forms, reports, logs, records, and production sign-offs accurately.
