Job summary
Divergent is seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist to drive reliability of CNC machines, robotics, and automation in our Los Angeles area facility. You will develop maintenance strategies, diagnose multi‑discipline failures, and implement corrective actions to maximize production uptime.
Ideal candidates have strong PLC, CNC, and robotics experience, plus hands‑on mechanical and electrical skills.
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining CNC machine tools, robotics, or automated systems.
- Strong multi‑discipline mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with CNC controls, PLCs, robotics, and motion control.
Responsibilities
- Own maintenance strategy to maximize machine availability and throughput.
- Diagnose complex failures across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
- Troubleshoot PLC logic, CNC controls, robot programs, and safety systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams on reliability improvements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and ramp‑up of new CNC and automation equipment.
