Job summary

DRiV Incorporated in Skokie, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain efficient and safe operation of equipment, machinery and building facilities in the DRiV manufacturing plant. This Team Member is a subject matter expert that completes duties of an advanced technical and/or mechanical nature that require specific training, licenses or certifications.

Reporting to Operations Supervisor, the role involves providing technician support across robotics, CNC, tooling, wire EDM,

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; additional training or certification as required for the area worked.
• Associate Technician supports other Technicians on the same team and performs first level work.
• Core Level: work within guidelines under supervision; can handle routine to complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technician support to manufacturing maintenance and repair across robotics, CNC, tooling, wire EDM, facilities, mechanical, electrical, and quality assurance.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and adhere to safety requirements; coordinate measurements of PPAP.
• Locate, troubleshoot and repair breakdowns to reduce downtime; ensure conformity and quality of parts.
• Report quality problems and shut down equipment if unable to resolve; ensure safety of equipment and area.
• Identify process and equipment inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Other tasks consistent with knowledge and training.
