Job summary

Zicana is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer, Stone Fabricator, and Machine Operator to join our team. You will program and operate 5-axis bridge saws, Northwood SawJet, and waterjet equipment using AlphaCAM and EasySTONE while reading CAD drawings and shop tickets to ensure high-quality stone fabrication.

Responsibilities include optimizing machining strategies, monitoring processes for accuracy, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating 5-axis bridge saws using AlphaCAM.
• Experience operating the CR ACTION MK2 using EasySTONE software.
• Experience programming and operating a Northwood SawJet using AlphaCAM.
• Proven experience fabricating and processing granite, marble, quartzite, quartz, porcelain, sintered stone, and other natural and engineered stone materials.
• Ability to read shop drawings, production tickets, CAD files, and fabrication specifications.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing exceptional quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Review drawings and determine the most efficient machining strategy for each project.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to ensure precision and quality.
• Inspect completed components to verify dimensional accuracy and finish quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment care.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet fabrication schedules and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
