Job summary

Henderson Group Recruiting represents a manufacturing client seeking a CNC Programmer to join a sheet metal fabrication team in Farmington, CT. The role combines programming, process planning, cost estimating, and quality control to deliver precise parts on time.

You will develop and optimize CNC programs for laser, punching and press brake, interpret drawings, choose tooling, prepare quotes, maintain quality records, and coordinate shipping.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal equipment.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and production methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
