Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a CNC Programmer to support sheet metal fabrication, programming, and cost estimating. The role emphasizes accurate manufacturing planning, tooling selection, and collaboration with production, sales, and quality teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on CNC programming experience, proficiency with CAD software, and a strong eye for detail to help ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with equipment and manufacturing standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting production and quoting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal equipment.
• Interpret drawings, CAD models, and customer specs to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and production methods to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Design manufacturing fixtures as needed and establish manufacturing routings.
• Work with production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on material, labor, machine time, and external services.
• Support sales with timely, competitive quotations.
• Coordinate shipping documentation and ensure on-time delivery.
