Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Pottstown, PA is seeking a CNC Operator for a full-time, day shift.

Work Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay range of $30–$35 per hour depending on experience. You will program Haas CNC mills and lathes using G-code and CAM software.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and GD&T, setting up machines, performing first-piece inspections, optimizing cycles, and maintaining accuracy and safety standards while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience.
• Experience with Haas equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program Haas CNC milling and turning centers using G-code and CAM software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Set up machines, fixtures, tooling, and workholding for production.
• Perform first-piece inspections and adjust programs or offsets.
• Optimize cycles, tool life, and quality.
• Select cutting tools, speeds, and feeds per material.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and programs to minimize downtime.
• Operate precision measuring equipment.
• Maintain setup sheets and production documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment readiness.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.
