CNC HAAS Programmer

We are looking for a skilled CNC Haas Programmer. This is a great opportunity for experienced machinists who are comfortable programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment. If you thrive in a detail-oriented environment with a focus on quality, we want to hear from you!

Hours

• Start Time: 06:00 AM
• End Time: 2:00PM
• Shift: First Shift
• Days of Operation: Monday through Friday (if applicable)

Pay

$25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Plan machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Calculate machining requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and reference points.
• Set up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, collets, bushings, attachments, stops, stock pushers, and other tooling.
• Perform setups on both CNC and manual equipment.
• Edit and troubleshoot G-Code programming as needed. Indicate vises and tram machine heads to ensure proper alignment.
• Perform tool offsets and monitor tool wear for optimal performance.
• Conduct routine cleaning and light maintenance of CNC machines.
• Perform machining operations including drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and threading.
• Follow ISO standards and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all quality and regulatory guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years CNC operator/programmer experience preferred.
• 1–2 years experience operating manual lathes required.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and programming.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with G-Code editing and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or certifications in CNC programming or machining a plus.

Other Requirements

• Ability to respond quickly to sounds and visual cues.
• Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly.
• On-site work at manufacturing facility.
• Physical ability to perform routine machine setup and maintenance.
