Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN in Pottstown, PA is seeking a CNC Operator for a full-time, day shift.

Work Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a pay range of $30–$35 per hour depending on experience. You will program Haas CNC mills and lathes using G-code and CAM software.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints and GD&T, setting up machines, performing first-piece inspections, optimizing cycles, and maintaining accuracy and safety standards while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience.
• Experience with Haas equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.

Up to $35/Hour for a CNC Operator in Pottstown, PA!

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $30 - $35/Hour depending upon experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program Haas CNC milling and turning centers using G-code and CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, etc.).
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and work instructions.
• Set up machines, fixtures, tooling, and workholding for production runs.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make program or offset adjustments as needed.
• Optimize machining processes to improve cycle times, tool life, and product quality.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material requirements.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues to minimize downtime.
• Operate precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Maintain accurate setup sheets, tooling lists, and production documentation.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment remains in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support manufacturing goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED; technical school or machining certification preferred.
• 3–5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience, preferably with Haas equipment.
• Proficiency with Haas controls and G-code programming.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and workholding techniques.
• Knowledge of various materials including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and plastics.
• Ability to use precision inspection equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
