Job summary

rms Company is seeking a CNC Programmer to create and implement high-quality CNC programs for multi-axis machining in a production environment. The role supports tooling management, process improvements, and cost reduction on the shop floor.

The candidate should have at least 2 years in CAD/CAM programming and experience as a level 3 machinist, with proficiency in Word and Excel and knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and cutting tool geometry. Familiarity with Esprit and SolidWorks is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CAD/CAM programming experience.
• Experience as a level 3 machinist.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and network file structure.
• Working knowledge of cutting tool geometry, speeds and feeds for materials.
• Understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Experience with Esprit programming software and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Writes and/or modifies CNC programs for multi-axis machined parts.
• Monitors program performance after implementation and makes adjustments.
• Maintain program files and documentation.
• Provide ongoing support for machining processes on the floor.
• Assist in training operators on equipment and programs.
• Identify and evaluate new tooling and fixture applications.
