Job summary

PRECISION MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Programming Engineer who provides technical expertise across cost estimates, manufacturing methods, and CNC programming to ensure efficient production and high quality.

The role drives continuous improvement, supports ISO processes, trains machinists, and collaborates with scheduling to meet deadlines while maintaining safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have CNC machining experience.
• Ability to read blue prints including GD&T.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate cost estimates for RFQs.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, process sheets, material requisitions, and tooling needs.
• Utilize CNC programming skills to generate efficient programs.
• Develop in-process inspection sheets based on customer criteria.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish and assist machinists with setup.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and boost productivity.
• Collaborate with the Scheduler to meet schedule targets while upholding quality.
• Support ISO compliance and quality initiatives.
• Provide shop-safety leadership and training on setup and operation.
• Stay updated with new technical developments relevant to the company.
