Precision Medical Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician – CNC Support in North Manchester, IN to bridge CNC setup and programming. The role involves setting up complex jobs, testing and editing programs, troubleshooting, and collaborating with Engineering and Quality to improve processes.

You will read blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models, create setup documents, and support cross‑functional teams to ensure quality and throughput in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience with complex setups and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with G-code programming and editing.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T understanding.
• Hands-on setup documentation and work instruction development is a plus.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC machines for complex jobs with tight tolerances.
• Assist CNC Programmers with testing and validating new or revised programs.
• Perform minor edits to G-code programs under supervision.
• Create new CNC programs, setup sheets, and IP inspection sheets with Engineering/Quality.
• Support engineering in identifying and resolving machining issues.
• Participate in CNC process validations, prove-outs, and first article inspections.
• Maintain records of setups, tooling configurations, and process parameters.
• Recommend process improvements on cycle time, tooling, and setup efficiency.
• Serve as a technical resource for CNC setup operators on tooling and part interpretation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models; collaborate across teams.
