Precera Medical in Minnesota seeks an Engineering Technician to coordinate production activities with engineering. You will create CNC programs, troubleshoot processes and drive improvements through LEAN principles. You will develop tools, validate changes, and support ERP-based change control.

The role focuses on accuracy, tool selection, and process optimization, with a strong emphasis on quality and cross‑functional collaboration across manufacturing and engineering teams.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in a technical field.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software, SolidWorks, NX and Esprit.
• Proficient PC skills in Windows, including Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret prints/models, create CNC programs, and set up machines for Swiss or milling centers.
• Select cutting tools to optimize life and cost.
• Develop cost-effective, sustainable processes.
• Write work instructions and procedures.
• Full understanding of G-code and LEAN practices.
• Coordinate engineering tests and quality assurance.
• Support tool design, CNC programming, and change control in ERP.
• Assist with tooling costing and quoting; resolve daily manufacturing issues.
• Maintain machining and secondary processes; engage in continuous improvement.
