Job summary

Novozen Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer for our Bangor, ME site. This on-site role involves creating and maintaining CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar CAM software, and verifying them with Vericut before production.

You will support multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding, troubleshoot on the shop floor, aid with startup and training, and help develop CNC work instructions and manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a high school diploma/GED with the required manufacturing or operations experience.
• At least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Experience with CNC programming, CAM software, and program simulation/verification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, Vericut, or similar tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement is preferred.
• Recent client references are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CNC machine programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar CAM software.
• Simulate and verify CNC programs using Vericut before releasing them for production.
• Support multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding operations for complex metal components.
• Troubleshoot CNC programming and machining issues on the shop floor.
• Assist with machine startup, operator training, tooling, and fixture requirements.
• Prepare and maintain CNC work instructions and manufacturing methods.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, machine operators, and other team members.
