MaineGuide in Bangor, ME is seeking experienced CNC Programmers for a 1-year contract to support high-precision manufacturing operations onsite. You will program, verify, and troubleshoot CNC machines using Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma controls and CAM software such as Mastercam, Siemens NX, or Esprit 2000.

Responsibilities include shop-floor support, tooling, fixturing, operator training, and process improvements. Strong diagnostic skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience with 2+ years in operations.
• Hands-on CNC programming and machining experience required.
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma controls is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for milling, turning, and/or grinding.
• Verify CNC programs using Vericut before shop-floor release.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and provide daily production support.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on machine startups and process improvements.
• Support tooling, fixturing, and machining process requirements.
• Develop operator instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead improvements in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
