Qualifikationen

• 3+ years in CNC programming and setup in a precision machining environment.
• Proficient in G-code/M-code programming and CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC milling machines and lathes.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and apply GD&T standards.
• High school diploma or GED; vocational cert/assoc preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop, optimize, and edit G-code and CAD/CAM programs for multi-axis CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, work offsets, and parameters for prototypes and production runs.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Select optimal cutting tools, feeds, and speeds to maximize productivity while preserving tool life and part quality.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using precision measuring instruments to uphold our low-rejection standards.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot programming or mechanical issues on the shop floor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace adhering to shop safety protocols.
