TT Machining & Fabricating in Michigan City, IN is seeking a skilled machinist who can own a job from start to finish. You will program parts offline and on the machine, set up and operate Hurco and Mazak mills and lathes, and dial in tight tolerances while inspecting your work.

You will work from 2D prints and 3D models, editing geometry as needed, and select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds. This position is full-time on-site in a precision CNC shop with a team that values craftsmanship.

Qualificações

• Must have real CNC programming experience, on machine and offline from CAD/CAM sources.
• Hands-on CAD/CAM experience with Fusion 360, BobCAD, and DraftSight or close equivalents.
• Experience operating Hurco and Mazak mills and lathes is strongly preferred.
• Background in a job shop setting with fast setups and varied work is valuable.
• Strong print reading and inspection skills using micrometers, calipers, and indicators.

TT Machining is a precision CNC machining job shop in Michigan City. We run tight-tolerance, short-run, and custom work, so no two jobs look the same and we take pride in getting every one right. We are looking for a machinist who can own a job from start to finish: program it, set it, run it, and prove it out.

What we are looking for

• Real CNC programming experience, both at the machine and offline from CAD
• Hands-on CAD/CAM with Fusion 360, BobCAD, and DraftSight, or very close equivalents
• Hurco and Mazak experience strongly preferred
• Job shop background preferred, you know variety and fast setups
• Strong print reading and inspection with mics, calipers, and indicators
• Someone who takes ownership and gets parts right the first time
