ITT Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, NY, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer to develop software for CNC machines, using CAD models and CAM to create precise components for industrial pumps. The role requires strong programming, CAM skills, and a solid grasp of lean principles.

The candidate will work with Mastercam or similar CAM software, set up tools, run simulations, and troubleshoot to improve efficiency, quality and safety.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years CNC machining and programming experience.
Strong knowledge of CNC machines.
Able to read, write and understand English; interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
Lean/setup reduction and mistake proofing experience.
Mastercam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Program CNC equipment (lathes, mills, multi-axis centers) from CAD/ CAM offline.
Review blueprints and program from CAD models away from the machine.
Adjust paths/settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
Define optimized sequence of machining steps and create setup sheets.
