Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer to support sheet metal fabrication through programming, process planning, and cost estimation. The role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and timely delivery within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include developing CNC programs, interpreting drawings, selecting tooling, and establishing routings. You will also assist with quotes, quality documentation, and shipping coordination to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated CNC programming experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with CAD software and relevant CNC programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, tooling, and materials.
• Familiarity with equipment and manufacturing standards.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, press brake, and other sheet metal equipment.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and customer specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Select tooling, materials, and production methods to improve efficiency and minimize waste.
• Design manufacturing fixtures as needed.
• Establish manufacturing routings in accordance with applicable standards.
• Work with production personnel to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on material requirements, labor, machine time, and outside services.
• Review customer drawings to assess manufacturability and define production requirements.
• Obtain material and service pricing from vendors and suppliers.
• Support the sales team with timely, accurate, and competitive quotations.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, FAI, and Certificates of Conformance.
• Verify that documentation and finished products meet customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
• Document nonconformances and support corrective actions.
• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate packaging and shipment of finished goods.
• Prepare packing slips, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
• Schedule carrier pickups and support on-time delivery.
• Verify order accuracy and completeness before shipment.
