GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA is seeking an engineering intern to contribute to fast-paced, data-driven manufacturing activities. You will develop 2-3 axis NC processes, create CMM programs, and participate in process improvements for development hardware.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (without rounding).
• Must be a full-time matriculated student in a BS engineering program.
• Completed two full years of college (rising junior).
• Willing and available to work at GE Aerospace in Lynn, MA.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2- and 3-axis NC processes for development hardware (machining programs, tooling).
• Develop 4- and 5-axis NC processes for development hardware.
• Develop CMM programs for inspection of development hardware.
• Set up and operate machine tool equipment to support development/production activities.
• Perform in-process dimensional checks including CMM setup.
• Troubleshoot process issues and support revisions of production planning.
