Job summary

Summit Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Programmer for a Wichita based aerospace manufacturer. The role will focus on CNC programming, interpreting drawings, and generating setup documents to support production.

You will review other programmers' code, verify NC programs, and handle standard shop tasks while adhering to tight schedules in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and three to five years CNC Operator experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using CATIA V5 programming software.
• Experience using Vericut Software.
• Ability to read blueprints and models.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provides shop support.
• Interprets drawings and creates layouts with models.
• Creates set-up documents.
• Reviews programming of other programmers and verifies NC codes.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
