Job summary

Orizon Aerostructures in Wichita, KS is seeking a CNC Programmer to turn aerospace drawings into NC programs, tooling, and processes for highly complex parts. You’ll work with NX, CATIA, Vericut, and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining to develop and verify programs before they reach production.

Qualifications

• CNC programming experience in a machining/manufacturing environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with NX and/or CATIA.
• Knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and workholding.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret aerospace drawings, customer requirements, and GD&T.
• Develop CNC programs using NX and/or CATIA.
• Design tooling, fixtures, workholding, and machining processes.
• Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machining.
• Use Vericut to simulate and verify programs before production release.
• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, and Quality to improve processes.
• Develop setup sheets and work instructions.
• Support first-piece acceptance and in-process verification.
