Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop, prove-out, and maintain programs for precision medical device components in a regulated environment. You will interpret drawings, GD&T, and CAD models to produce tight-tolerance parts and collaborate with engineering and quality teams.

Mastercam experience preferred; you will optimize tooling, setups, and processes while supporting first article inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam strongly preferred).
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Experience machining tight-tolerance parts (±0.0005 or tighter).
  • Background in regulated industries (medical device preferred; aerospace acceptable).

Responsibilities

  • Develop, prove-out, and maintain CNC programs using CAM software (Mastercam preferred).
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T to produce tight-tolerance components.
  • Optimize tooling, fixturing, feeds, speeds, and cycle times for efficiency and repeatability.
  • Support first article inspections (FAI), validation activities, and ongoing production.
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues; implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to ensure compliance with ISO 13485 / FDA requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across machining operations.
