Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Senior CNC Programmer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This role will play a pivotal part in our manufacturing process, utilizing expertise in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming to optimize operations. This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply skills and knowledge in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs using Siemens software to control a variety of machines including lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Working closely with the manufacturing team to design and produce fixtures or special tools necessary for CNC machines.
• Interpreting complex engineering drawings, 3D models, and blueprints to understand specifications and tolerances.
• Implementing efficient machining strategies and tool paths to ensure optimal CNC performance.
• Conducting regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specifications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with CNC programs or machines.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior CNC programmers and operators.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in CNC programming technology and implementing improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications
