This long-term, full-time role targets candidates with 5–10 years of programming for 5-axis CNC mills, focusing on creating and editing CNC programs for milling machines and lathes to ensure precision.

The ideal candidate will set up machines, read blueprints, collaborate with engineers, and troubleshoot programming or machine issues while maintaining high quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of CNC programming experience with Mastercam.
• Experience with palletized 5-axis mills is a big plus.
• Strong shop-floor leadership abilities.
• Proficient in Fanuc programming.
• Solid understanding of geometry and blueprint reading.
• Experience with CAD/CAM tools CATIA/Solidworks.
• Familiarity with milling machines and lathes.
• Attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CNC programs using CAM software.
• Set up and operate milling machines and lathes.
• Use micrometers and calipers to inspect parts.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings with engineers.
• Perform tooling changes and adjustments as needed.

• 10 or more years of machining experience.
• Experience with Solidworks.
• Familiarity with Tsugami and Star machines.
