Job summary

Worthington Armstrong Venture (WAVE) seeks a Production Operator to operate CNC, routing, and press equipment in our Maryland facility. The role involves loading materials, feeding levels, and performing various forming operations to meet production schedules.

Candidates should have CNC experience, familiarity with LEAN manufacturing practices, and a background in a fast-paced production environment. The position includes safety responsibilities, quality checks, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge and experience of CNC machinery in manufacturing environment or similar.
• Preferred LEAN manufacturing, 6S, Six Sigma.
• Preferred experience in a fast-paced, high performance manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas and equipment.
• Operate CNC, routing, and press machines per schedule.
• Load raw material, feed coil, and set up dies and tooling.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.
• Assist with machine preventative maintenance.
