Job summary

Janicki Industries, located in Washington, seeks a Production Manager to oversee machining and fabrication of composite, metal, ceramic, and hybrid parts. The role requires strong workflow planning and cross-functional coordination across up to 25 staff on multiple shifts.

You will drive efficiency, coach teams, and ensure timely delivery of complex projects. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant training and 1–3 years of leadership experience, with familiarity in ERP systems such as SAP

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years specialized training after high school or equivalent on-the-job training
• Must have 1-3 years related job experience
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiar with Microsoft Office products; SAP or similar ERP systems
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident per ITAR/EAR requirements; ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and scheduling to maximize productivity
• Direct and lead a team of employees
• Interface with Project Teams to support scheduling and priorities
• Estimate production times and staffing for management decisions
• Analyze workforce utilization, space, and workflow; ensure resources
• Identify areas for improvement and cross-train to improve capability
• Ensure processes follow project management guidelines
• Mitigate production risk with Project Managers and Process Engineers
• Provide on- the- job training and maintain tool inventory
• Ensure materials and tools are available before projects begin
• Prepare and provide reports for operations management
• Maintain documentation and records for compliance and traceability
• Maintain attendance and punctuality as essential functions
