Job summary

Janicki Industries, Inc. in Sedro Woolley, Washington is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily production across multiple shifts. You will oversee up to 100 personnel, coordinate cell teams, and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, execution of 5S standards, and hands-on coaching of cell managers. Candidates should have a technical or business degree and relevant manufacturing management experience; US citizenship or permanent

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, or related field.
• “AS9100 and NADCAP compliance knowledge is preferred.”
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to plan and execute goals with judgment.
• Experience managing production cells and improving efficiency across shifts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the daily function and execution of production cells.
• Analyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow for resources.
• Backfill for Directors and Cell Managers during vacation or sick time.
• Monitor production KPIs and maintain responsibility for data accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement across work centers and train new cell managers/leads.
• Coordinate cross-cell movement of shared resources and manage onboarding of new hires.
• Own 5S standards and provide direction on best practices across site.
• Plan and schedule with cell managers and assist with plant-to-plant projects.
• Demonstrate leadership that inspires teams, maintains morale, and meets deadlines.
