Job summary

Precision Medical Technologies is seeking a Production Machinist (Level 1) to operate CNC and manual machines, producing high-quality medical components in compliance with specifications.

You will perform routine maintenance, inspect finished parts, document production activities, and participate in training to learn new machinery and techniques. A high school diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience are required, with basic computer data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a vocational program in machining or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a medical device or precision machining industry.
• Experience with operating and maintaining CNC machines and manual machining equipment.
• Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines and other production equipment to manufacture medical components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments to machinery as required.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Document production activities and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of new machinery and production techniques.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and provide support in resolving technical challenges.
