Job summary

Precision Medical Technologies, Incorporated in Indiana is seeking a Production Machinist (Level 1) to operate CNC and manual machines producing precision medical components to exact specifications.

You will perform routine maintenance, read blueprints, inspect parts, and document production activities while adhering to safety standards. This role requires at least 1 year in manufacturing and a high school diploma, with vocational machining preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational machining preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing, preferably medical device or precision machining.
• Experience with operating and maintaining CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficient with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and maintaining tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines and other production equipment to manufacture medical components according to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and adjust machinery as needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document production activities and report issues to the supervisor.
• Participate in training sessions to learn new machinery and techniques.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and provide support in resolving technical challenges.
