Job summary

Acumed LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing machining team on a Monday–Friday shift. You will maintain a strong floor presence, coach staff, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement across lean initiatives and standard work.

The role requires at least five years of hands-on CNC experience, strong leadership, and a track record of addressing production bottlenecks with cross-functional teams. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on CNC machining experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate, and hold a high-performing team accountable.
• Experience supervising in machining or manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds, leads, and develops a high-performing team with clear expectations and accountability.
• Maintains a strong presence on the production floor, addressing issues impacting production.
• Coaches employees through feedback, cross-training, and performance management.
• Monitors machine utilization, labor efficiency, quality, and delivery; drives corrective actions.
• Identifies bottlenecks and partners with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance to remove obstacles.
• Ensures SOPs, Work Instructions, and safety requirements are followed.
