Job summary

Torrey Holistics seeks a skilled Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and PLC systems in our Michigan facility. You will diagnose issues and implement improvements to ensure uptime and safety.

You will wire equipment, manage spare parts, implement automation, and lead safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance while collaborating with Engineering on new projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical and PLC experience required.
• Working knowledge of Fanuc Controls and RS Logix 5000 preferred.
• Experience with CNC and gear cutting equipment, and heat treat equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic problems and existing installations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machine problems and complete repair maintenance activities.
• Wire equipment.
• Maintain electric spare part inventory.
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems.
• PLC implementation.
• PLC program management (work with Engineering on new and existing projects).
• Responsible for all facility electric.
• Participate in implementation of automation.
• Maintain power to OSHA regulations.
• Train maintenance personnel.
• Project Management (APQP process).
• Follow Housekeeping, Safety (lockout/tagout) & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs).
• Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping.
• Comply and participate in housekeeping, safety and environmental polices.
• Ensure compliance to all levels of the Quality and Environmental Systems.
• Other duties as defined by your manager.
