Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform expert break-fix and preventative maintenance on complex machinery in a manufacturing environment. You will diagnose root causes, source parts, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, plus hands-on machining, welding, and safe operation of tools. Travel is required daily; you will document work in service reports and mentor junior

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree with technical focus and 10 years related experience, or 12 years in industry.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
Ability to use basic and specialized tools.
Willingness to travel daily.

Responsibilities

Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance.
Identify and source parts; evaluate alternatives for cost/reliability.
Operate machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder) and welding as needed.
Document work in service reports and data logs.
Mentor and train lower level technicians on site.
Troubleshoot complex control systems; analyze software/hardware/configuration issues.
Follow safety policies and guidelines.
Observe and report trends to improve maintenance and reliability.
