Job summary

Calgon Carbon | A Kuraray Company is seeking a CNC Plasma Table Programmer for the Equipment & Assembly Plant in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves creating CNC programs for plasma table, plate roll, and brake press, and preparing daily nesting plans to maximize machine utilization.

Responsibilities include material inventory optimization, cycle counting, and reading drawings to produce parts. Qualifications include 0–2 years in drafting/CNC programming and experience with AutoCAD 2D, SAP, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent preferred.
0–2 years of experience drafting or CNC programming required.
0–2 years of experience with AutoCAD 2D required.
0–2 years of experience with SAP required.
0–2 years of experience with .DXF, .DWG and various print file types required.
0–2 years of experience building spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel required.
Auto CAD CAM Software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create programs for the CNC Plasma table, plate roll and press brake machines using part nesting software.
Create files and daily nesting plans for the CNC plasma table to keep machines running.
Ensure materials are routed properly and enough nested jobs are prepared.
