Job summary

VSP Technologies is seeking a Production Technician to manufacture, package and ship fluid sealing products. The role involves CNC fabrication, order processing, labeling and safe operation of equipment, while maintaining quality and inventory controls.

The position requires a high school diploma, relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a TWIC card where applicable. Prior manufacturing experience and CNC exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience relating to the job duties.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card (where applicable).
• Experience or training in manufacturing process/environment (Preferred).
• CNC manufacturing equipment experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Fabricate finished gaskets from various materials using CNC equipment or by hand.
• Receive, document, and fill orders per sales/purchase orders.
• Ensure quality standards per Quality Manual.
• Perform weekly and monthly preventative maintenance on machines.
• Operate a forklift or hand truck to move material.
• Label products and packages accurately.
• Maintain inventory stocking levels and restock materials.
• Package and ship finished goods per orders.
• Provide delivery and shipment tracking information.
• Work safely and promote health and environment.
• Keep work area clean and comply with safety regulations.
• Deliver finished product to customers as needed.
