Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to set up, run, and maintain packaging equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation to fill and package products for shipment. You will work with high-speed dispersers, filling machines, pumps, valves, and robotics, performing routine maintenance and quality checks.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in manufacturing/distribution, operate packaging machinery, monitor gauges, and support cross-functional teams to meet production

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• At least 1 year monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators.
• At least 1 year operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment.
• At least 1 year monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods.
• At least 1 year operating packaging equipment such as robotics, filling machines, case packers, or labelers.
• At least 1 year of work experience using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operate paint making control systems and manufacturing equipment such as high-speed dispersers, filling machines, pumps, valves, robotics, case packers, labelers, forklifts.
• Breakdown and clean all equipment including pumps, tanks, valves, and lines.
• Package and label filled containers to specifications.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Comply with policies and standard operating procedures.
• Keep equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain production records and reporting as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to other team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve manufacturing procedures.
• Keep tools, equipment, and workspace clean and organized daily.
