Job summary

nVent is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to lead CNC or Caddy programming improvements, perform advanced tooling trials, and troubleshoot equipment. This role directly supports operations as the frontline for machine and process issues, while also assisting Engineering, Maintenance, and Lean initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of CNC setup experience, strong print-reading skills, and familiarity with CAD/3D modeling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade schooling preferred.
• 1–2 years of direct CNC machining setup experience is expected.
• Strong print reading skills (GD&T) and CAD/3D modeling familiarity are assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC or Caddy programming improvements and tooling trials.
• Provide troubleshooting support on machinery and processes.
• Assist in creating manufacturing documentation and work instructions for CNC or Caddy equipment.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Lean groups to address issues and implement improvements.
