Okuma America Corporation is seeking an Options Installation Technician to ensure customer-ordered options are installed accurately on Okuma-built machines at our Charlotte facility. You will interpret schematics, support installation, and troubleshoot across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software systems.

The role emphasizes safety, quality checks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet schedules and customer specifications, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing with focus on electrical assembly or machine build.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical and mechanical options on Okuma machines per specs.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical docs for installation.
• Troubleshoot installation issues in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software areas.
• Verify installations meet specs and quality standards.
• Use tools safely; coordinate with teams to meet timelines.
