Job summary

Watteredge LLC in Avon Lake, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC Vaski equipment and read engineering drawings for production. You will load materials, select appropriate tooling and programs, monitor operations, and inspect parts to ensure they meet spec.

Respondents should have 2+ years of CNC or manufacturing machine experience, strong measuring tool skills, and solid math fundamentals. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.

Location: Avon Lake, OH Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

• 10% Shift Differential

What You’ll Do

• Set up and operate CNC Vaski equipment.


• Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers.


• Load and position materials for production.


• Select appropriate machine settings, tooling, and programs for each job.


• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.


• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.


• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tapes.


• Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and production issues.


• Complete production documentation accurately.


• Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.


• Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent


• 2 or more years of CNC, Vaski, or manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.


• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
