Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our Valley, Nebraska team. You will read blueprints, program CNC mills/lathes, and construct dies, fixtures, gauges, and tooling for multiple production areas.

The role includes repairing parts for maintenance and fabricating prototype components for new products. Applicants should have strong math skills, CAD experience (AutoCAD/Fusion), and the ability to work OT as required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 7+ years related experience.
• Experience reading blueprints/process sheets.
• Heat treatment and dies/fixtures experience.
• Experience with CNC mills and lathes; welding mild steel.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and determine machining steps.
• Program CNC machines and set up tooling.
• Operate lathes, mills, drills, grinders; weld as needed.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; continuous improvement involvement.
• Mentor less experienced Tool & Die employees.
